Jason Hutcheson brings a deep knowledge and understanding of the hotel and hospitality industry that spans over a decade in acquisitions, fundraising, brokerage, and operations to his role as Senior Consultant at The Elliot Group. The throughline in Jason’s career is his fulfillment from empowering others to exceed their expectations, whether that has been supporting executive leaders, developing team members, or serving as an executive coach for high-performing leaders across industries.

Prior to joining the team, Jason worked as Vice President of Investments at First Hospitality, where he led hotel acquisition efforts for the firm’s family office and partnership with The Georgetown Company. In addition to his investment responsibilities, he supported the executive team with growth strategies, M&A, capital raising, business development, C-suite hires, and more. Earlier, Jason served as Associate of Investments for AJ Capital Partners, helping to grow the Graduate Hotels portfolio as well as analyst roles with CBRE and Azul Hospitality, supporting hotel sales, financing, and operations across the U.S.

Jason graduated with a B.A. from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management with a focus on real estate and leadership. Originally from Chicago, Jason recently moved to New York City and can often be found exploring the city’s many restaurants, art galleries, music venues, and yoga studios.
