Liz Stone is a human capital, workforce, and organizational development expert with over 25 years of experience in leadership roles across the hospitality and franchise industries.

As Executive Vice President at The Elliot Group, Liz cultivates strategic partnerships across the consumer, service, and franchise industries, fostering deep relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders to help implement talent strategies to drive organizational growth.

Liz has led successful work across the Board, C-suite, and Vice President levels, matching transformation talent strategies across a wide range of functional disciplines. Her work spans diverse organizational landscapes, including publicly held organizations, private equity-backed companies, franchise operations, and founder-led ventures, often within high-growth environments.  

In addition to her advisory work, Liz previously held executive leadership roles in human resources and learning & development functions. She served as Head of Human Resources and Training for Craftworks Restaurants and Breweries, a leading multi-brand franchisor.  In that role, Liz shaped talent strategies to support operational scalability, employee engagement, and leadership development across a national footprint.

Earlier in her career, she founded and led a Tennessee-based executive search firm specializing in hospitality leadership recruitment.

Passionate about advancing women in business, Liz serves on the International Franchise Association (IFA) Women’s Franchise Committee and is Co-Chair of the Women’s Franchise Network New York City Chapter. Additionally, Liz has held several board positions, including Habitat for Humanity, and remains actively involved with organizations dedicated to affordable housing, community development, and animal welfare.
