Mackenzie joined The Elliot Group in 2018 as Executive Search Consultant and was promoted to her current role in 2021. Based at the Company’s corporate headquarters in New York, Mackenzie brings a background in both recruitment and management. Growing up in Central Florida, Mackenzie gained an early appreciation for hospitality, tourism, and food and beverage.
Mackenzie joined The Elliot Group after working for Los Angeles-based Hillstone Restaurant Group (formerly Houston’s) in several markets including New York City, Phoenix, and South Florida. While there, she spearheaded recruitment efforts for management candidates throughout the Northeast overseeing hiring, placement, and onboarding. Mackenzie was most recently the General Manager at Hillstone’s flagship restaurant, on Park Avenue in the heart of Manhattan, where she led corporate management development and training.
Mackenzie is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and returns to campus frequently for recruitment and alumni events. As a New York City resident, she is an avid explorer of all the island has to offer, especially the breadth of cuisines and thriving restaurant culture.
