Joan Ray, Executive Vice President, based in Georgia, joined Elliot Associates in 1992 and has worked in executive search since 1986. Prior to joining the firm, Joan had six years of hospitality human resource management experience and six years of hospitality executive search experience. A Board Member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum for nine years, she served as Chair of the Executive Development Committee, Chair of the Membership Committee and Vice Chair of the Endowment Committee and received the 2002 Women’s Foodservice Forum President’s Award. Joan has been an Adjunct Instructor at the Art Institute of Atlanta’s Culinary School, a panelist at the Multicultural Foodservice Hospitality Alliance’s Symposium, a guest speaker at Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers’ National Convention and National Restaurant Association’s Marketing Executive Group’s Fall Conference. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She and her husband Robert reside in Jacksonville, Florida.
